Take cover ..

Ha! Serves me right for talking about the weather! After wondering what the elements would throw at me at yesterday's Wedding I was plagued all day by .. the sun! Dazzling, blinding, brilliant sunshine that would frizzle down for a minute or so, then instantly disappear behind a huge cloud and plunge everything into shadow! Still, Bertha - as promised - is making herself felt this morning and I'm much happier having had bright sunshine to cope with rather than the incessant rain we're getting right now. Seems appropriate that Chloe chose to carry a parasol yesterday. It was the perfect cover ..

Have a look at Chloe's preview here ..

Mere? ..

One of the loveliest things about Saturday's Wedding at The Mere - and a first for any Wedding I've ever shot - was that the couple proudly announced during the speeches that the bride was pregnant. The 'Aws' and 'Ooohs' that went up made me wish I was recording sound!

Anyway, I've just finished editing all the pictures .. and Claire and Steve will soon be receiving a mere 1073 images on their CD! Wow! I think that's the largest number of shots I've ever put onto a disc! It's no wonder my eye-balls are aching this afternoon! I'm really happy with the work, though .. especially as the day was such a challenge, weather-wise! I think there were a mere 7 hours of solid rain ..

Strictly come speaking...

John Sergeant was the guest speaker at an Awards Dinner I shot last night, and Neil and Christine Hamilton were the hosts. It was the annual EN Magazine Entrepreneur of the year 'bash' with almost 500 guests at Mere Golf Country Club - or The Mere, as it's rebranding itself! Well, a good time was had by all, as they say, and I'm sloshing my way through 520 images this morning! The whole lot will be on EN's Facebook page very soon, and I'll pop the link up when that happens.

So, a quiet weekend beckons (For once!) .. I'm meeting a bride and groom in the morning to chat about their plans, and then I'm a free man until Monday! Well, I say 'man' .. I've just answered the phone to a cold-caller who, when I said my name as I always do, asked if he was speaking to Mr or Mrs O'Neill..!

Well, I was speechless....
