Big in Japan!!

Great news...Tokyo beckons...again!

A selection of my Joy Division photographs has been chosen to 'front' a new range of Exclusive T-shirts for hip Japanese designer label 'Lad Musician' ...

The clothing range aims to be launched in May,
and an exclusive set of prints will be on sale at the company's flagship store in Shinjuki, Tokyo.

The photos were taken at a gig in Bowdon Vale Youth Club in 1979.

JEEPERS!!!!

Aaaagh....!! My internet disappeared...and over two weeks later I'm (just) back with some temporary Dongle-thingy..but at least I'm Blog-capable again.

(Must admit it was quite amusing to have a young shop lady tell me she was just going to "get my Dongle"...what a sad old man I am ha ha!)

Anyway...busy at the Carole Nash NEC MotorBike show in Brum yesterday...involved lots of funky shots like the one above...and some daft stuff like that with the gorgeous twins that I had to spend the day with... Hi girls!..then just time for a nice arty shot of The Bullring before I hit the train....

for their annual Firework Display, and it didn't disappoint!
(Hey, even the rain stayed off)
Glad it's not become a victim of the recession,
and the numbers of people there seemed to justify its going ahead as usual.

Had a great day yesterday at a Wedding Fayre at Manchester Town Hall.
Met lots of excited couples and hopefully picked up a couple of new wedding bookings for 2010/11...Thanks to everyone that turned out in pretty awful weather!
